DNA Sports’ College Recruitment Consultation Meeting and Individual Recruiting Seminar educates the student athlete about the college athletics recruiting process and provides a personalized recruitment strategy.
The student athlete is encouraged to bring any video footage, statistics, coach recommendations, and/or measurable feedback (see key baseball measurables and key softball measurables) from showcases and camps.
Upon reviewing these materials and obtaining a summary of all academic credentials, we create personalized and actionable recruitment strategy that:
- Recommends skills development areas;
- Provides academic goals, including the establishment of benchmarks for GPA, SAT, and ACT scores;
- Stresses the impact of good study habits, school achievement, and character development;
- Breaks down the athletic benchmarks by position for each level of collegiate play – D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and Junior College, and provides personalized recommendations to each athlete;
- Educates about the recruiting process, including NCAA Rules and regulations, the recruiting calendar, contacting and following up with college coaches, academic eligibility, the application process, financial aid, and choosing the right schools from an athletic and academic standpoint;
- Advises on the confusing world of college camps, showcases, and summer travel teams;
- Provides each student athlete a recruiting manual to assist them throughout the process.
The DNA Sports Recruitment Education Seminar starts at $150 per session. Contact us to learn more about the clinic »
The seminar is offered in both the College Recruitment Preparatory Program for Underclassmen (freshmen and sophomores) and the College Recruitment Guidance Program for Upperclassmen (juniors and seniors).
