Ages: 3rd - 8th Grade (SYBL AA, AAA, & Pony Participants)

Dates: 3 Sundays:  3/9, 3/16, 3/23

Time: 12:15 - 1:15 pm

Location: Shaker Hts HS - South Gym

Cost: $75

**Must be registered for the 2025 SYBL Season to Participate**

Objectives covered in SYBL Preseason Skill Development Clinics Include: 

• Pitching Training: Biomechanically based pitching instruction with heightened focus on arm health, developing a smooth delivery, and throwing strikes consistently;

• Catching: Building a strong foundation for the catching position – with a particular emphasis on balance base stances, body control, correct footwork, glove action, blocking, and quickly transferring the ball from glove to hand

Bison Softball Clinic Sessions, powered by DNA

Date and Time: Wednesday Evenings, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Location: Beachwood Auxiliary Gym

Session 1 - Throwing, Fielding: Dec. 4, Dec. 11, Dec. 18
Session 2 - Hitting: Jan. 8, Jan. 15, Jan. 22
Session 3 - Team Offense/Defense : Feb. 5, Feb. 12, Feb 19

$75 per session

Objectives covered in Bison Youth Softball Clinics Include: 

• Throwing & Fielding: Building a strong foundation for defensive skills – proper footwork, glove position, and throwing techniques; forging an understanding of team defense and effective communication

• Hitting: Individualized hitting instruction with a focus on building a quicker, more efficient, and repeatable swing; Subscribing a series of customized drills aimed at correcting each player’s unique faults, and teaching each athlete how to analyze, self-correct, and troubleshoot to avoid slumps

• Team Offense/Defense: Applying previously learned throwing, fielding, & hitting techniques to team play; understanding individual concepts, roles, and responsibilities within a team setting

Objectives covered in Bison Youth Pitching Clinics Include: 

• Fundamentals based pitching instruction focused on arm health, targeted spot throwing, and passing through various positions with efficiency and fluidity;

• Recognize how to change speeds and create an effective pitch arsenal using tools each pitcher already has;

• Adopt a unique series of drills that each athlete can practice independently to maximize personal potential and troubleshoot;

• Develop mental toughness and leadership qualities that all pitchers must possess in order to be effective in their craft.
